Today a good friend of mine needs our immediate help! A single mom of 2 is going to be kicked out on the streets tonight if she doesn't come up with close to $1300.00 for current & past due rent by 5:00pm. My friend has recently regained employment... however, she fell behind on rent when she lost her job just over a month ago & her husband was deported just prior to that. ReplyDeletemy name is joy,i'm 20 and an orphan.at first glance I'm a young lady with a pretty face and a sexy body and more than a few people have remarked that i would make a great model even if by height i stand only at 5ft6'' but beyond that whole beautiful exterior is a girl who has been through years of struggle,hardships,hunger and near rape experience and i can say for a fact my life isn't as beautiful as it looks.
To cut a really long story short i had to drop out of school a long time ago because i couldn't pay the fees and from gen on i started doing odd jobs like working as a housemaid,hawking goods on public roads,babysit and as sales girl in a few places.for the past 8months i had worked at a bookshop until 2weeks back when i had to quit after i was almost raped by my boss.
My reason for posting on this site is because i have always dreamt of going back to school so that at lest i would be able to get my degree and have a chance at better work prospects so i can make something of My life.
I am seeking assistance of $10,000 to enable me write the national exams,complete registrations for admission into a nursing school(i wish to get a degree and later a doctorate in nursing),pay for my hostel and my first semester fees.
On my own i know i can't accomplish this task that's why I'm calling on all kind hearted individuals out there to please come to my add and make my dream a reality and for the rest of my life i will remain greatful to you,no amount is too small or too big please.

I am a struggling artist who is going through some tough times. For a long time I had to sacrifice a lot and get by on very little. Things got very bad for me. I have used up my last resources. I can't create any art as I don't have the money for it. I can't afford to pay my rent or even buy food anymore.
ReplyDeleteWhat made it worse, was that 7 months ago I had to give up my place in the city as I could no longer afford it. I was forced to move miles away to a farming area as it was the only affordable place for me at the time. I had to choose between the city streets or a roof over my head, on a farm.
The problem is the farm is an hours walk to the nearest shop. So I have to walk for two hours, there and back, every time I need food and goods. At first it was no problem because I could still afford to place an advertisement for my art, on the net and news papers. I had a few customers in the beginning. I could still make some money but because the farm is so far out. It got more and more difficult getting people to come to the farm to look at my art.
It is so bad that I hardly make enough to put food on the table. I have tried everything I can to get out of trouble yet I seem to be slipping further and further. I have come to the last plan on my list of A SECOND MEANS OF INCOME. That is to start a Gardening Service. I have managed to obtain 2 very old lawnmowers, and some other garden tools just to get me started.
Yet my biggest problem is transport. I am calling on all the Good Samaritans to PLEASE help me get my own transport and put food on the table. When I start this business it will also help me to get my art to dealers and markets.

My car is in need of assistance, It have bad break lines (no Breaks) and is leaking oil all over the place.....I take care of my mother who is 82 years old and I take her to all her appointments and such...I have been barrowing cars to get her around and frankly she is sick of it.

I am 27, a wife and mother of 3. My husband and I have been together for 10 years and our children are 6, 5 and 4, they are his children as well. Both my husband an I are in post secondary studies, him being in his last year of college and myself being in my last year of university. Up until the end of school we were doing fine, however it took me a while to get a job, a month of applying to anything and everything. Sadly my job is commission based and I only make, if I'm lucky, $400 a week. This was fine before because I was driving our car which was cheap on gas and I was hoping to get another job. However my car broke down and I can't afford the repairs on it right now. This left me our van to use for work. Because of this my husband had to put his studies on hold and the van is much more costly on gas! Last month we started falling behind. I figured I would get a second job any time now with continually putting resumes out, but that hasn't happened yet. We were able to pay our rent, a week late, but all our bills went overdue. I have tried getting loans, I have boosted the limit on our credit card and I have begged family and friends for money and we don't qualify for welfare either. This month we will not be able to cover all of rent and our bills will again not be paid. On top of that July 4th is the deadline for paying our tuition, or at least a portion of it, to stay in school.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I don't drink, we don't do any drugs we don't even smoke! Our kids are our lives and we just want to make it through for them!

I am a 57 year old blind woman. My husband is retired. We live on SS and usually manage just fine. But our budget is balanced on a knife edge and sudden crises really mess us up. The owner of the house we live in has decided to tear it down and build a new house. We have to be out by the 13th of this month. I have found a new place for us but I need $800 in order to get it. ReplyDeleteNot sure if this will actually work, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
I am Charlie and for the past year I have gone self-employed as an IT Consultant. I threw every last penny of my savings into this venture because I knew I had the skills and drive to make a success of it.
What I couldn't have foreseen is I would become ill just 4 months into this exciting venture.
To cut a long story short, I am now on serious medication, but the good news is that I feel well enough to continue with my business.
Unfortunately, I need to pretty much start again but am skint.
I am looking for work, but in these tough times, I really believe my best option is to perservere with my business.
I therefore am hoping some kind petson or persons may be able to help me as I am struggling to even feed myself at the moment.
